The apartment is located on the 7th floor of an apartment building in the center of Thessaloniki. Despite its favorable location due to the small openings in the facades and the dysfunctional layout of the floor plan, the apartment remained dark and the central room was lacking a “specific use”.
The demolition of the intermediate walls offers a brighter and more unified central space while the dark corridor of the entrance expands. The kitchen as a basic living room is moved to the center of the house. The natural light shades reflect sunlight and the apartment looks larger.
