The theater and art workshop is located on the 1st floor of a listed building in the center of Thessaloniki. It consists of two theater halls, an art hall, a play area and a café for parents waiting for their children.
The goal was to design a comfortable and versatile space that encourages imagination, creativity and play everywhere.
The study was implemented with respect to the history of the building. The plaster ceiling decoration, the old wood floors in the classrooms, and the cement tiles in the wet areas were preserved and maintained. The design of the furniture followed simple lines and the colors and materials were chosen in order to create a neutral background on which to highlight the children’s creations.
